I am in the process of writing my tenth book on how to use computer graphics software. The first six were with major publishers and this will be the fourth self-published book. I need to find a good editor who can help me to polish my words into pure gold. Two passes of the entire book will be required. The first will be working with original Word 2007 files and this can be done mostly via e-mail. The second pass will be on printed pages and will require you to pick up and deliver the printed pages once or twice a week. In total this will involve somewhere between 800 and 1000 finished pages (with a lot of graphics) and should last from October until March-April 2010. You only need to edit the words, you do not need to verify that the technical information is correct. There is another editor for that part.

Convince me that you are the right editor for this project! There is no set amount of pay, though I want to make sure you receive very fair compensation for the work you do. If things go well, there are certainly other smaller projects where a good editor would be helpful.
